6:34 pm. Touch for the second half!
6:31 pm. Bernardo Miranda BRA PB: Rushes a little on the first skill, had a nice transition to the single rail handstand, does a second one that’s just as good, half turn to handstand was strong, Healy maybe a hair short, double front dismount with a step forward. 13.566 (5.1, 8.466)
6:27 pm. Diogo Soares BRA PB: Front pike to handstand, basket to handstand, some leg form in the first pirouette and then falls out of what I think was supposed to be a Makuts? Falls onto the bars and picks himself back up, another shaky transition onto the single bar and then walks his hands coming out of it, big hop back on the dismount. 12.566 (5.7, 6.866)
6:25 pm. Zachary Clay CAN PB: Front pike a little muscled to handstand, arched over and adjusts a hand, pirouette out was nice, a couple more clean pirouettes after that, front straddle salto, maybe a little forward on the catch, double pike clean with a hop. 13.566 (5.5, 8.066)
6:22 pm. Isaac Nuñez MEX PB: A little short on the basket with half turn to handstand and on the one-arm pirouette after, barani was a little low but he corrected well enough, front straddle salto was good, turns around for the Bhavsar, caught a little high maybe? Shoulders looked weird. Lovely Tippelt, just slight hesitation, half turn out has a big arch and he walks his hands a bit, got the double pike dismount. 13.833 (5.9, 7.933)
6:18 pm. Touch underway for parallel bars!
6:13 pm. Beam Final Standings
1. Rebeca Andrade, Brazil, 14.166

7. Luisa Blanco, Colombia, 12.166
8. Aurélie Tran, Canada, 12.133
6:09 pm. Luisa Blanco COL BB: Unfortunately grabbed the beam on the bhs loso loso. Front aerial to split jump to sissone. Nice switch to switch half and split ring jump. Side somi, slight check. Side aerial, break at the hips. Dismounts with a back 1.5, small hop. 12.166 (5.2, 7.066, -0.1 ND)
6:06 pm. Kayla DiCello USA BB: Candle mount, nice triple wolf turn, super solid on the bhs loso loso, switch to switch half to split jump, nice connections. Front aerial, strong side aerial, double pike, rotates a bit slowly but gets it around with a hop, her best landing yet I think! 13.800 (5.7, 8.100)
6:00 pm. Kaliya Lincoln USA BB: Nice triple wolf turn. Gorgeous bhs layout! Front aerial, check, split jump to straddle jump. Double pike, step back. 13.166 (5.4, 7.766)
5:56 pm. Cassandra Loustalot MEX BB: Layout stepout mount, lovely, step back. Bhs loso loso, some leg form, step. Switch to switch half, minor form things. Wolf jump to straddle jump was lovely! Side aerial, step back. Lots of steps to regain control. Full turn, side jump with a check, double pike, step back. 13.300 (5.4, 7.900)
5:51 pm. Rebeca Andrade BRA BB: Hit the switch leap mount. Switch to switch half to split jump, good! Got the flight series with no problems. Front aerial to split ring jump to back handspring. Switch ring, big wobble, leg comes up, wobbles again as she pulls it back. Good side aerial. Full turn. Double pike, lunge back. Wow, 14.166 (6.1, 8.066)! That moves her to first.
5:47 pm. Aurélie Tran CAN BB: Hit the front aerial to jump series. Lovely flexibility down for her low choreo. Full turn, jump before the side aerial, good connection, unfortunately off on the bhs loso. Side split jump half. Hit an aerial series and a back layout full dismount. 12.133 (5.1, 7.033)
5:43 pm. Ava Stewart CAN BB: Hit the switch to wolf jump, big wobble on the bhs to tuck full. Mixed series with the split ring jump and Korbut was lovely and so fluid! Double wolf turn IIRC. Little check on the switch ring leap. Double pike, chest down, step forward. 13.900 (6.3, 7.600)
5:39 pm. Flavia Saraiva BRA BB: Back handspring mount, little pause before the jump to Korbut. Full turn. Solid bhs loso. Nice switch ring. Front aerial with a pause before the split ring jump. Tiniest adjustment on the side somi. Switch leap to sissone. Double pike, excellent landing! Tiny step. 14.033 (5.7, 8.333)
5:37 pm. The touch for beam should wrap up soon!
5:30 pm. Men’s Vault Final Standings
1. Audrys Nin Reyes, Dominican Republic, 14.466
2. Arthur Mariano, Brazil, 14.466

4. Yuri Guimarães, Brazil, 14.133
5. Daniel Villafañe, Argentina, 13.866
6. Juan Larrahondo, Colombia, 13.816
7. Josue Armijo, Chile, 13.583
8. Alejandro de la Cruz, Cuba, 12.933
5:28 pm. Josue Armijo CHI VT: Shewfelt, just a bit short in getting the flip rotated over enough for the landing, on his heels and slips, hands down behind him. 13.133 (5.2, 7.933)
Kas full with a good landing, little bounce in place. 14.033 (4.8, 9.233)
13.583 average.
5:25 pm. Alejandro de la Cruz CUB VT: Kas 1.5, looked like he had the landing at first, but then kind of punches forward to his hands, OOB/off the mat. 12.900 (5.2, 8.000, -0.3 ND)
Handspring double front, also punches forward to his hands. 12.966 (5.2, 7.766)
12.933 average.
5:23 pm. Daniel Villafañe ARG VT: Another massive Kas 1.5, but his form isn’t super clean and he’s not very controlled on the landing either, big leap forward as he tries to stop his rotation. 13.866 (5.2, 8.666)
Handspring double front, JUST gets it around enough to push forward on the landing and keep it upright. He sat about 5 billion of those in the warmup before the competition. 13.866 (5.2, 8.666)
13.816 average.
5:20 pm. Juan Larrahondo COL VT: Dragulescu, a couple of big steps back out of that, but really strong overall! 14.300 (5.6, 8.700)
HUGE Kas 1.5 but the rotation is a little bit off and he has to take a big step over to the side OOB and off the mat. 13.333 (5.2, 8.433, -0.3 ND)
13.816 average.
5:15 pm. Audrys Nin Reyes DOM VT: Beautiful Kas 1.5, small hop on the landing. Minor crossed leg form in the air. 14.366 (5.2, 9.166)
Dragulescu, RIDICULOUS block, some leg form in the air and his chest is a bit forward on the landing but wow, almost no one is doing that like him. 14.566 (5.6, 9.066, -0.1)
14.466 average, ties Mariano but wins the tie-break with a higher single vault score!
5:12 pm. Yuri Guimarães BRA VT: HUUUUUUUUUGE Kas 1.5. Went almost to the end of the mat?!?! Form isn’t AS clean as Mariano or Dolci, but still not bad at all. Hop forward on the landing. 14.533 (5.2, 9.333)
Handspring double front, bit of a stumble back. 13.733 (5.2, 8.533)
14.133 average.
5:09 pm. Arthur Mariano BRA VT: Shewfelt, SO clean in the air, big lunge forward. 14.500 (5.2, 9.300)
Kas 1.5, again SO clean, step forward, less severe of a deduction than the first. I think he can get ahead with Dolci with that? 14.433 (5.2, 9.233)
14.466 average, moves him ahead!
5:07 pm. Félix Dolci CAN VT: Kas 1.5, super nice in the air, hop forward. 14.500 (5.2, 9.300)
Handspring double front, EXCELLENT rotation, bigger hop forward there but his height on that was fab. 14.266 (5.2, 9.066)
14.383 average.
5:03 pm. Athletes are just starting the touch for the first half of the vault rotation!
