7:48 pm. With that wolf turn fall and the mistake on bars I think Chiles is out of the mix for gold or silver…

7:45 pm. Jordan Chiles USA FX: Full-twisting double layout, little hop, feet looked like they were on the line. 1.5 through to full-in, hop back. Hop L turn through to tour jeté full, great. Fell out of her double wolf turn, hand down. OOF. Front layout through to double tuck, hop back. Switch full. Double pike, hop back.

7:41 pm. Karla Navas PAN UB: Toe full to Maloney to Pak, leg separation. Van Leeuwen. Catches the straddle Jaeger, bail to toe shoot, short handstand before the full-in, stumble forward.

Anya Pilgrim BAR BB: Off on her flight series. Gets the punch front. Gainer full off the side.

Kayla DiCello USA FX: Excellent double double. Strong 1.5 to front full. Good on the leaps into the corner before the next pass, strong double pike with a little hop back.

7:40 pm. Jade Barbosa BRA VT: Gets the Yurchenko double around with some form in the air and a step back. She crashed her touch attempt so looks THRILLED about this!

7:38 pm. Flavia Saraiva BRA FX: Beautiful double layout, step back. Super high double tuck, had a bit of a wild landing with her back leg flying up but was able to get it back under control. 1.5 to barani, smart knowing she couldn’t get the full around! Great landing on the double pike.

Franciny Morales CRC BB: Off on her flight series. Strong punch front.

Natalia Escalera MEX VT: Strong Yurchenko 1.5!

7:37 pm. Luisa Blanco COL VT: Yurchenko 1.5, basically textbook. I think that’ll do it for Paris!!!

Barbara Achondo CHI UB: Came off on the low bar.

7:35 pm. Hillary Heron PAN UB: I saw the Maloney to Gienger, Jaeger, and clean double tuck dismount. Great day for her!

Aurélie Tran CAN FX: I may have missed the first pass, saw the front full, which was nice. Switch ring to tour jeté half was gorgeous. Strong double pike to finish.

Nicole Iribarne ARG VT: Solid tsuk full, minor form in the air, not super powerful, but good overall.

7:34 pm. Deborah Salmina VEN BB: Nice leap series. Finished the flight series really low but was able to hold on. Front aerial with a stumble but another good save. Came off on something after that though. Hit the dismount.

Milagros Curti ARG VT: Yurchenko full, chest far down and a step.

7:31 pm. Ava Stewart CAN FX: 1.5 through to double pike, some form and a lunge back. Front through to double full, some leg form and a bouncy landing. Double tuck was a bit deep.

Lynnzee Brown HAI VT: Really strong Yurchenko 1.5! Small step. 13.400

Alexa Grande ESA UB: Hit routine, finished with a double tuck with a couple of steps.

7:29 pm. Ahtziri Sandoval MEX FX: Front tuck through to full-in, lunge forward. Nice switch to tour jeté half. Clean double pike, step back. Double tuck with a bounce. 11.933

Ashley Bohorquez ECU BB: Bhs loso, nice and solid. A bit short on the leap series, especially on the switch half. Side aerial, a little short. Side split jump. Hit the jump series. 1.5 dismount with a hop. 10.600

Makarena Pinto CHI UB: Hit routine, double pike dismount with a step back.

7:20 pm. Kayla DiCello USA BB: Candle mount. Triple wolf turn was seamless. Bhs loso loso goes well, minor form. Switch leap to switch half, a bit short, to split jump. Front aerial, little check. Side aerial, bigger check. Good fight. Double pike, stumble back, better than prelims! 13.200

7:19 pm. Natalia Escalera MEX FX: Double layout, legs apart but stuck cold! Think she had a 1.5 through to double tuck after that. Front layout through to double pike, strong! Great routine. 12.933

Alejandra Alvarez PUR UB: Hit routine, I saw the straddle Jaeger and dismount, both good! 10.600

7:18 pm. Flavia Saraiva BRA BB: Hit the mount to jump to Korbut series, nice. Nailed the flight series and the switch ring. Front aerial to split ring jump to back handspring. Side somi, slight adjustment. Switch to sissone. Double pike, tiny step. BRILLIANT! 13.866

7:15 pm. Luisa Blanco COL FX: Her teammates are sitting right behind me and are screaaaaming, I love how she’s made such an impact on this team in such a short amount of time! Double pike with a great landing, tiny bounce back. Stuck the double tuck. Front full to front layout, steps to arabesque. 12.566

Anya Pilgrim BAR UB: Front toe half to toe full, YES! Maloney to Pak, jumps to high bar, stuck the double tuck! That was so nice. 10.733

7:13 pm. Nicole Iribarne ARG FX: Good landing on the double pike. Lands the front full. Double tuck to finish, good landing! 11.933

Franciny Morales CRC UB: Toe-on to Ray, nice! Bail to toe shoot, blind full with minor form, blind change to front giant half, and a full-in dismount with a step, good work! 10.966

Aurélie Tran CAN BB: Hit her flight series. Side split jump half was good. I missed some skills at the beginning but didn’t see any falls. Switch to switch half, some form there. Clean layout full, almost sticks it. 12.666

7:07 pm. Lynnzee Brown HAI FX: Hit her first pass, I only saw that the landing was good. Also saw that she hit the second pass. Super solid double tuck at the end. 12.200

Ahtziri Sandoval MEX BB: Really nice form in her jumps! Side somi with a slight check. Off on the side aerial to back tuck. Hit the dismount. 11.200

Alexa Grande ESA VT: Yurchenko full, pretty clean, slight hip pike and a hop back. 12.533

7:06 pm. Makarena Pinto CHI VT: Tsuk full, a bit piked, steps back out of it, but strong overall! 12.566

7:05 pm. Stella Diaz PUR UB: Hard fall, I didn’t see what. Back on for the blind full and double tuck dismount, clean with a hop. 10.066

Alais Perea ECU VT: Saw that she hit. Think it was a Yurchenko full? 12.866

7:03 pm. Jade Barbosa BRA FX: Whip to tucked full-in, good landing! Piked full-in, some leg separation in the air and a little low, but solid overall. Double wolf turn. 1.5 to front full, good! Double pike, hop back. 13.433

Jordan Chiles USA BB: Nails the bhs loso loso. Front aerial to straddle jump to back handspring was so good. Gets the turn and then side somi. Switch leap. Sissone to wolf jump. Clean side aerial. Big switch side. FANTASTIC double pike! 13.466

6:54 pm. Luisa Blanco COL BB: Got the wolf turn around. Bhs loso with a break at the hips, good save. Front aerial to split jump to sissone. Maybe a tiny bit slow going into the jumps but she was fluid enough to cover it up well. Switch to switch half connection was maybe a little slow as well. Split ring jump, solid. Side somi, break at the hips, leans forward but saves it. Side aerial is good. Sticks the 1.5! 12.200

6:50 pm. Nicole Iribarne ARG BB: Nice switch mount, but has a big stumble on the side aerial. Good jump series. Off on her flight series. Front full dismount with a step into the salute. 10.600

Barbara Achondo CHI FX: Her presentation walking onto the floor is better than 99% of floor choreo that exists. Double pike with a controlled lunge. Front full to stag was lovely. Great landing on the 2.5 and she balletically dances out of it, amazing, she is the moment. I feel like the crowd should be throwing roses. 12.333

Flavia Saraiva BRA UB: Full pirouette to piked Tkachev to Pak, toe-on to Maloney to Gienger, minor leg form. Double front, minor form with a little hop. 13.533

6:48 pm. Hillary Heron PAN FX: “Just” a double layout to open today, no Biles. Clean double pike, small hop back. 1.5 to front full was good. Clean double tuck with a small hop.

Aurélie Tran CAN UB: Clear hip to toe full, arched over too far and had to come off. Blind change to straddle Jaeger after she remounts, and dismounts with a clean stuck double layout. 11.766

6:47 pm. Milagros Curti ARG BB: Layout stepout mount, slight check on the flight series, but nice overall, side somi with a little bobble, front aerial, full turn, switch to split jump to Korbut, lovely, nice presentation in her level change choreo, 1.5 dismount with a small hop. 12.666

Alexa Grande ESA FX: Strong full-in to start, small hop. Also saw a front through to 1.5 from her, think she hit the last pass. 11.966

Ava Stewart CAN UB: Hit the pirouette before the Maloney to Tkachev, stalder to Pak, a little low, mostly clean in the van Leeuwen, blind change to front giant to piked double front, deep but gets the landing!!! 13.433

6:44 pm. Lynnzee Brown HAI BB: Nailed the bhs loso. Front aerial also good. I think a sissone to split jump. Slight check on the side somi. Tucked gainer full dismount. 11.533

6:41 pm. Makarena Pinto CHI FX: Stuck the double pike, slightly soft knees. Switch to switch full. 1.5 to front full, whips the latter around but gets the landing. Double tuck was high, rotated a bit slowly and landed with her chest down, but the crowd’s dying! 11.833

Ahtziri Sandoval MEX UB: Shaposh to Pak, clean on both. Maloney to bail to toe shoot, blind full to piked Deltchev, hit the dismount, good routine! 12.933

Jade Barbosa BRA BB: Great layout stepout mount. Roundoff layout with a check. Great amplitude on the switch side. Wobbled through the turn. Standing back tuck was good, hit the dismount! 12.900

Jordan Chiles USA UB: Toe full, big piked Tkachev to clean Pak, Maloney, doesn’t get the backswing needed, takes an extra swing before the Gienger, caught close, gets the piked Jaeger, bail to toe shoot, some hip form, and a full-in with a step. 12.700

Ashley Bohorquez ECU VT: Got the Yurchenko 1.5!! Looked pretty solid, I didn’t see details but she sat it yesterday. 12.766

Hillary Heron PAN BB: Switch leap mount, switch to split jump. Gets the bhs loso no problem. Front aerial good. Side aerial, side straddle jump was a little short, 1.5 dismount with a step forward. 12.533

6:24 pm. Deborah Salmina VEN FX: Hit her first pass, a double tuck IIRC? Next was a double pike, a little bit wild on the landing. Switch ring. Hit the last pass. 11.466

Alexa Grande ESA BB: Hit everything at the beginning, nice side somi, hit the layout full dismount. 11.333

Nicole Iribarne ARG UB: Leg separation on the blind change but controls it back into the piked Jaeger, Pak is good, clear hip to clear hip half was short, to toe shoot, blidnd full, and a clean double tuck, college sticks with a step into the salute. 11.900

6:17 pm. Stella Diaz PUR FX: Had a lovely leap to start. Double pike landed well. Switch leap to tour jeté half, rotation maybe a hair short. Front full, some form. Exquisite in her dance. Think she had a double full at the end. 11.433

Ava Stewart CAN VT: Really strong Yurchenko 1.5! Step forward but better than her prelims landing. 13.333

Jade Barbosa BRA UB: Toe full, a little late, to toe-on to Chow to hip to mixed grip to Ezhova, good, Maloney to Tkachev, also good! Hit the stalder and a strong double layout. 13.100

Karla Navas PAN BB: I missed most of this but what I did see, she hit. 1.5 dismount. Think she stayed on! 11.300

Barbara Achondo CHI BB: Gorgeous mount. Bhs loso, little slide back. Bhs 1/4 to handstand in split, lovely. Hit the dismount. 11.100

Luisa Blanco COL UB: Caught it from the low to high transition, van Leeuwen I think, blind change to front giant half, and a full-in dismount, stuck on her toes with a big lean forward. 11.700
