Alvaro Bautista produced a sensational overtake on the final corner of the final lap to beat Toprak Razgatlioglu to World SBK victory in Portugal. The reigning champion earned his 56th win with Ducati in style by edging “an epic race” at the death, going around the outside of Toprak to edge ahead over the finish line. The pair swapped positions 35 times in a thriller.
