That was half the case this weekend, as two titles changed hands, with one wrestler regaining a championship.

Two titles changed hands at AEW Full Gear 2023. First up, Toni Storm defeated Hikaru Shida to win the AEW Women’s Title. This marks Storm’s third reign as champion, tying Shida’s record for the most reigns in the title’s history. Later, Julia Hart defeated Skye Blue and reigning champion Kris Statlander to become the new TBS Champion. This is Hart’s first title in AEW. All other champions retained their titles.
