St. Louis University High School wide receiver Ryan Wingo announced his commitment to Texas on Wednesday.

Wingo is a four-star recruit and the 27th-ranked player in the 2024 class on the ESPN 300. Wingo chose Texas over his hometown school Missouri.
The highly touted wide receiver is the second-ranked player in the state of Missouri and the seventh-highest-ranked receiver in the class, per ESPN.
Wingo is listed at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds. The dynamic playmaker has 1,444 total yards in 15 career games at St. Louis University High School.
National recruiting analyst Allen Trieu of 247Sports compared the skilled wideout to San Francisco 49ers pass-catcher Deebo Samuel. Wingo also has a track background, having posted a 10.55-second time in the 100m dash as a sophomore.
