Ty Lue has made the first rotation cutdown in the wake of the James Harden trade. For now, Bones Hyland will be out of the Los Angeles Clippers rotation.
Lue said it was a difficult decision, because Hyland had been playing well. But Lue doesn’t want his team to be too small on their second unit.
Hyland is averaging 11.8 points on a career-best 43.8% from the field. He’s in his first full season with the Clippers, after being acquired from the Denver Nuggets at least season’s trade deadline.
